14The Meat Technology Unit, Mannuthy reached a new heights of success by generating more than 23 Million rupees as internal revenue from the sale of meat and meat products to the public during the financial year 2017-18. To mark this accomplishment, “Achievement Day 2018” was celebrated at Meat Technology Unit on 13.04.2018. Programme began with a welcome speech delivered by Dr. V N Vasudevan, Assistant Professor, MTU. Dr. Irshad A, Assistant Professor, LPT & MTU presented the report of the various activities of the Unit during the year 2017-18. The programme was presided over by Dr. Joseph Mathew, Registrar, KVASU. He congratulated the team lead by Dr. B Sunil, Professor & Head, Meat Technology Unit, Mannuthy on this accomplishment with an annual growth rate of 27 % of internal revenue and also for the hard work and team-spirit. Dr. N. Ashok, Director (Academics & Research), KVASU delivered the Key note address. Dr. K. M. Syam Mohan, Finance Officer, KVASU, Dr. K.P. Sreekumar, Professor (RC & IC) and Dr. P.V. Treasamol, Associate Dean, CVAS Mannuthy felicitated the gathering. Dr. T. Sathu, Assistant Professor, MTU proposed the vote of thanks.
