27College Of Dairy Science and Technology, Pookode organized International Day of Yoga 2018 on 21.06.2018. Welcome address given by Mr. Abhilash. P, Athletic Captain, Students Union. Dr. N. Ashok, Director of Academic and Research, KVASU inaugurated the function and gave inaugural speech about yoga and its benefits. Dr. Rahila. M. P, Assistant Professor gave the felicitation speech. Students Union President Mr. Gokul. R presided over the function. Students Union Secretary Mr. Timil Tom gave vote of thanks to the participants of the function.
After the official function Dr. R. Kanthanathan, Assistant Professor & Head i/c, Department of Physical Education gave an awareness class about yoga. Later he demonstrated and conducted the practical session about asanas, pranayama and kriyas. All the students and staffs were actively participated in the celebration.
