Alumni interacts with faculty and students at CVAS, Mannuthy.

Dr Manoj Bhaskaran, Research Advisor-Pathology, of Lilly research Laboratories, USA and a distinguished alumni of the College of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, Mannuthy (1996 batch) visited the College on 5th July 2018. Dr Manoj is a Board certified anatomic pathologist, well published biomedical scientist and an experienced toxicologic pathologist whose primary focus is pathology project management that enables effective drug development. Dr Manoj held deliberations with faculty and elaborated on the processes leading to drug discovery and development. He elaborated on some cutting edge developments in the field. He offered help and support to young faculty members who wish to take up research career/ doctoral /post-doctoral research abroad.
 
Dr Manoj Bhaskaran also handled a two hour session on ‘Career and Research Prospects for Veterinarians in the US’ exclusively for students. Post graduate and final year B.V.Sc. and A.H. students attended the session. The speaker reiterated that there is no substitute to hardwork, determination and dedication. He offered help to aspiring graduates and post-graduates through ‘GREAT Foundation’ organized by accomplished alumni of the College in the US.
