22Dr Bindya Liz Abraham, Assistant Professor, Department of Animal Genetics and Breeding, College of Veterinary & Animal Sciences, Mannuthy has recieved Prof. P K Pani Research Award - 2017 on 15th November, 2018 at the 35th National Conference of Indian Poultry Science Association (IPSA) conducted at ICAR-Central Island Agricultural Research Institute (ICAR-CIARI), Port Blair, Andaman & Nicobar Islands, for her best research article in Poultry Genetics and Breeding entitled "Egg production curves and their prediction through mathematical models in a random bred broiler breeder control population" authored by Bindya Liz Abraham and H.N.N. Murthy and published in the Indian Journal of Poultry Science, 2017, 52(1): 16-21. The Award carries a gold medal, citation and a cash prize. The university congratulates her for this achievement.
