Dr C B Devanand and Dr Sudheesh S Nair of Dept of Veterinary Surgery and Radiology College of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, Mannuthy bagged Gold Medals in 42nd Annual Congress of Indian Society for Veterinary Surgery at NAVSARI,GUJRAT.

Dr C B Devanand , Professor and Head, Department of Veterinary Surgery and Radiology, College of Veterinary and Animal Sciences ,Mannuthy is selected for Gold Medal for Best Paper entitled "Critical size deep lacerated wound and its surgical management in an Indian Rock Python (Python morulus) by C.B.Devanand, Sudheesh S Nair, Soumya Ramankutty and S. Anoop, in Wild and Zoo Animal Surgery session of 42nd Annual Congress of Indian Society for Veterinary Surgery( ISVS) held at NAVSARI Agricultrural University , NAVSARI ,GUJRAT from 22 – 24 Nov 2018.

Dr Sudheesh S Nair , Assistant Professor, Department of Veterinary Surgery and Radiology, College of Veterinary and Animal Sciences ,Mannuthy is selected for Gold Medal for Best Paper entitled “Thoracic Radiographic imaging for evaluating pulmonary metastatic pattern in malignant skin and mammary neoploasms in dogs : A review of 24 cases” by Sudheesh S Nair, Narayanan M.K., Anoop , S., Soumya Ramankutty, Syam K.V and C,B,Devanand, in Radiology and Imaging session, and Appreciation award for the paper entitled “Surgical Management of Ventral hernia in pouter pigeons ” by Sudheesh S Nair, Anoop , S., Soumya Ramankutty., Narayanan M.K., Syam K.V and C,B,Devanand, in Avian Surgery session of 42nd Annual Congress of Indian Society for Veterinary Surgery (ISVS) held at NAVSARI Agricultrural Univesity , NAVSARI GUJRAT from 22 – 24 Nov 2018.

The awards will be given during inaugral function of 43rd Annual Congress of Indian Society of Veterinary Surgery (ISVS) to be held in November 2019 at College of Veterinary Sciences , Lala Lajpat Rai Univesity of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, Hissar, Haryana.

The Gold medal for Best Paper entitled “Symphyseal and transverse fracture of mandible in an Indian grey mongoose (Herpestes edwardsi) and its surgical managenment” in Wild and Zoo Animal Surgery session of 41st Annual Congress of ISVS was received by Sudheesh S Nair, Soumya Ramankutty., Anoop , S., Narayanan M.K., H. Anvitha and C.B.Devanand.
