Minister handed over appointment letter to martyred CRPF Jawan Shri V V Vasanthkumar�s wife

Kerala State Minister for Forest, Animal Husbandry and Zoos Sri K Raju handed over the appointment letter to Smt. Sheena, widow of CRPF Jawan Sri V V Vasanthkumar killed in the Pulwama suicide bomb attack. Sheena was a temporary employee, working at the Kerala Veterinary and Animal Sciences University (KVASU), Pookode, Wayanad.  She has been appointed as University Assistant at KVASU, as per her wish.
Earlier, Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan, while visiting the Martyr’s house, had assured all possible help to the family from the part of the State government. He also offered a post of Sub-Inspector in the Kerala Police to Sheena, if she was not interested in continuing as Assistant at the University.  He handed over an ex gratia of Rs. 25 lakh to the family as announced by the government and offered to build a house for the family in the district besides sponsoring the education of his children.
