Animal Husbandry sector should be considered at par with agriculture in terms of credit facilities to livestock farmers � opinion raised by Honorable Minister for Animal Husbandry & Dairying Shri. Adv. K. Raju during the inaugural function.

Adv. K Raju, Hon'ble Minister & Pro-Chancellor to KVASU inaugurated the Hostel building of College of Dairy Science and Technology, Kolahalamedu on 24.02.2020. Minister said that the Central Government should take steps to include Animal Husbandry based commercial farming sector with agriculture in terms of availing subsidized loans and credit support to livestock farmers. The function was presided by Smt. E. S . Bijimol M. L. A in the august presence of KVASU Vice Chancellor Dr. M. R. Saseendranath. The Dean of the college, Dr. P. Sudheer Babu, Registrar, Dr. N Ashok, Director of Entrepreneurship, Dr. M. K. Narayanan felicitated the programme.
