LIMITED RETENDER NOTICE-EQUIPMENTS
 
Sealed competitive retenders are invited for the supply of Equipments as detailed in Annexure I below. Last date for the receipt of the limited retender is on 28-3-2012 at 3PM, and tenders will be opened at 3.30PM on the same day in the presence of the tenderers or their authorized representatives.
 
Terms and conditions
 
1. Limited tenders should be accompanied by an EMD of 1% of the total cost of the quoted item by way of crossed DD drawn in favour of Dean, College of Dairy Science & Technology, Mannuthy payable at SBT, Ollukkara.
 
2. The sealed cover containing tenders should be super scribed “Limited tender for the supply of Equipments” and should be addressed to the Dean, College of Dairy Science & Technology, Mannuthy P.O, Thrissur-680 651.
 
3. Limited tenders should be accompanied by an agreement in Kerala stamp paper worth Rs 100/- as per the format (Annexure-II) appended.
 
4. Late and incomplete tenders and tenders without EMD and agreement in Kerala stamp paper will not be accepted. 
 
5. Firms who are exempted from payment of EMD should furnish attested copy of the currently valid certificate from the stores purchase department, Government of Kerala.
 
6. Selected firms will have to furnish a security deposit of 5% of the total cost of the equipment and execute an agreement in Kerala stamp paper worth Rs 100/-
 
 
7. The rate quoted should be inclusive of ST, entry tax (if any) and transportation charges. Excise duty if any should be indicated separately. Installation and commissioning charges if any may also be indicated separately.
 
8. The exact specifications, details of make, model, etc. of the equipment offered must be clearly specified. Copies of the detailed technical literature and illustrated brochure of equipmentquoted also are to be furnished along with the offer.
 
9. Details of warranty offered should be clearly stated in the limited tender.
 
10. The undersigned reserves the right to accept or reject any or all or the offers without assigning any reason whatsoever.
 
11. The supplier of the Industrial fermenter and the Head space gas analyzer should train two faculty members on the application, operation and maintenance of these equipment’s in the company at their own expenses.
 
12. Specifications of equipment’s can be had from the annexure-I attached.

AGREEMENT

(H.E. name and address of the tenderer) (herein after referred to as “The bounden” on the other part.
 
WHEREAS in response to the Notification No ……………… dated ……………….. the bounden has submitted to the University a tender for the ……………………………….. specified therein subject the terms and conditions contained in the said tender:
 
WHEREAS the bounden has also deposited with the University a sum of Rs …………………….. as earnest money for execution of an agreement undertaking the due fulfillment of the contract in case his tender is accepted by the University.
 
NOW THESE PRESENTS WITNESS and it is mutually agreed as follows:
 
1. In case the tender submitted by the bounden is accepted by the University and the contract for ……………………………….. is awarded to the bounden, the bounden shall within …………………… days of acceptance of his tender execute an agreement with the University incorporating all the terms and conditions under which the University accepts his tender.
2.
