27The new educational institution bus purchased at the College of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, Pookode was flagged off by Dr. M. R. Saseendranath, Hon'ble Vice Chancellor, KVASU on 20th January 2021 at University Headquarters. Dr. Sudheer Babu, Registrar, Dr. Ajith Jacob Gearge, DAR i/c, Dr. M. K. Narayanan, DE and Dr. Koshy John, Dean, CVAS, Pookode also joined Vice Chancellor for the first ride.
The new bus which has a seating capacity of 49+1D with BS VI compatibility, was purchased utilising Rs. 25 lakhs from the Chancellors award fund received for best young emerging university 2017-18.
