15In the current scenario where food security issues are emerging ,Food safety and standards Act 2006 has a key role in maintaining food safety in the country says Food Safety Commissioner of the state Sri. Worshipful Mayor of Thrissur Corporation Sri. I.P.Paul inaugurated the Food summit of Subiksha 2012. An exhibition is also organised in connection with the Subiksha 2012.
