Subiksha 2012 reiterates the importance of Dairy and food industry in the State

                      In the current scenario where food security issues are emerging ,Food safety and standards  Act  2006 has a key role in maintaining food safety  in the country says Food Safety Commissioner of the state Sri. Biju Prabhakar IAS. Food Safety Commissioner was delivering keynote address during the inaugural session of Food safety summit held in connection with the Dairy and Food Conference Subiksha 2012 at College of Veterinary and Animal Sciences of KVASU Mannuthy Campus on 11th April 2012. In order to implement the FSSA2006 act Government is making all efforts to identify the infrastructure facilities, accredited laboratories and Human resources in the state.FSC added. Worshipful Mayor of Thrissur Corporation Sri. I.P.Paul inaugurated the Food summit of Subiksha 2012. An exhibition is also organised in connection with the Subiksha 2012.
