19Dairy sector has enormous potential in the state. Says Hon'ble MP of Thrissur Sri. P.C.Chacko. MP was delivering the inaugural address of Valedictory function of Subiksha 2012-Dairy and Food industry Conference held at CVAS, KVASU Mannuthy Campus on 13th April 2012.This sector is gradually becoming a subsidiary to main stream occupation in the state. Dairy sector in the country will witness spectacular growth in the 12th plan perod. He added. MP released the newly developed whey beverage Dairy Cool developed by University Dairy Plant. Milma Chairman Sri. P.T.Gopalakurup presided over the function and distributed IDA's Gold medals. Milma Regional Union Chairman Sri. Gopinatha Pillai (MRCMPU), Sri. M.T. Jayan (ERCMPU), Sri. K.Ramesh(TRCMPU) offered felicitations. Sri. P.C.Chacko MP distributed IDA'a life time achievent Award to Dr.P.G.Nair, Former Dean, CVAS, Mannuthy.
