27International Workshop on Animal Welfare Science will be held at CVAS of Kerala Veterinary and Animal Sciences University, Mannuthy campus from 28th May to 1st June 2012. It will be jointly organised by Kerala Veterinary and Animal Sciences University and The University of Edinburgh as part of the project on Knowledge, Economy, Partnership of 2011 of British Council, India. Department of Veterinary Public Health of CVAS, Mannuthy is facilitating the programme.
Major objectives of the programme are to develop and embed a problem based learning approach. Professor Natalie Waran and Professor Heather Bacon from Royal (dick) School of Veterinary Studies, The University of Edinburgh and Ms Anita Sadarangani, Director of Indian Liaison office of The University of Edinburgh will lead the sessions as the resource persons for the workshop. 15 faculty members from KVASU will participate in the workshop.
