Karshakadinam celebrated at CDST, Mannuthy

              College of Dairy Science and Technology, Mannuthy celebrated Karshakadinam on 17th August 2012 (Chingam 1 ME 1188) at Veterinary College Auditorium, Mannuthy. Dr. R. Rajendrakumar, Dean, College of Dairy Science and Technology presided over the function. Sri.Raphi Paul, Asst. Director, Dairy Development Department, Thrissur District inaugurated the Farmers day celebrations. Dairy farmers of Ollukkara Block were honored by Dr. Francis Xavier, Professor (Farms), KVASU, Mannuthy. Classes were conducted on the topics ‘Food Safety and Standards Act, 2006’ and ‘Dairy Farm Mechanization’ by Sri. George Varghese (Food Safety Officer, Thrissur Circle) and Dr. Deepak Mathew (Asst. Professor, Department of Livestock Production Management, COVAS) respectively. Farmers from various Dairy Co-operative Societies of Ollukkara Block attended the seminar.
