Workshop on Wayanad 2030 for a perspective plan will be held @KVASU, Pookode from 9th to 11th November 2012.

                         Directorate of Entrepreneurship is coordinating a Workshop on 9th and 10th November 2012 at KVASU, Pookode campus, Wayanad along with the support from  District Planning Council to evolve a blueprint towards the various aspects of development that can lead Wayanad to a model district. 150 delegates from the sectors of tribal welfare, education, agriculture, livestock health, dairying, tourism and NGOs are expected to participate in the Workshop on 9th November 2012. Five sessions on the above themes will be done simultaneously and a plenary session is scheduled at 2.30 pm. Each session will have key note addresses from eminent personalities who have experience and expertise in the themes identified prior to an active discussion. Some of the key speakers include Shri Madhava Menon IAS (Rtd) , Shri Harikishore, IAS(Tribal welfare), Shri. Prasanth, IAS (Tourism), Dr Narayanan kutty (Agriculture), Dr. Jayesh (Livestock health) , Shri. K. T. Thomas, and Shri Prakash (Dairying), Dr. Anilkumar (NGOs). The Hon Ministers Kum. P.K.Jayalakshmi and Shri K. P. Mohanan are to attend the Post Workshop inaugural and valedictory function in the University headquarters on 10th November 2102.
