KAU-KVASU land Bifurcation-orders issued

                 Orders have been issued  regarding the bifurcation of land between Kerala Agricultural University and Kerala Veterinary and Animal Sciences University(Order GO(Ms)No 283/12/AD Dtd 11.12.2012 of Principal Secretary to Government, Agriculture(AH) Department). This has been made possible by the mediatory efforts of Hon’ble Minister for Agriculture and Animal Husbandry and Pro Chancellor of the Universities Sri. K.P.Mohanan. Minister convened the meeting of the Vice Chancellors and Senior officials on 28th November 2012 at Trivandrum and discussed the issue. Subsequently Hon’ble Minister visited the sites at Mannuthy on 30th November 2012 and discussed the issue with Vice Chancellors of the two universities, Professor in charge of ARS and Dean, CVAS, Mannuthy. Based on the suggestions put forward by the Minister and the recommendations of the High level delegation, Government have approved the area marked with hatched lines in the Map appended with this order as the property of KAU and the remaining will be with KVASU.
