Pro-Chancellor addressed the KVASU Faculty

The Vice Chancellor, Kerala Veterinary and Animal Sciences University, Officers and Heads of Departments hosted a dinner in honour of the founding Pro-Chancellor of Kerala Veterinary and Animal Sciences University, Shri. C. Divakaran, on 10/05/2011. The Minister wished KVASU the best and discussed with the Heads of the Departments on various aspects of the University’s progress. In his speech, he outlined the need to have a nationally competent and internationally recognized action plan. He pointed that the University has to have a commercially viable plan of action aimed at maximizing revenue sources and attaining self sufficiency. The Vice Chancellor wished the Pro-Chancellor all the very best and requested his continued support. The Registrar, Deans, Directors and Heads spoke. The Vice Chancellor handed over a fountain pen as a token of respect to the Pro- Chancellor. The Minister and his spouse Mrs. Hemalatha Divakaran joined the faculty for dinner later on.
