KVASU's Publication on Food Security released

             Kerala Veterinary and Animal Sciences University's recent publication on Food Security and Livestock Sector(Bakshya Surakshayum Mrigasamrakshanavum) was released by Worshipful Mayor of Thrissur Sri. I.P.Paul on 30th January 2013 during the valedictory function of 35th Thrissur Flowershow held at Town hall, Thrissur. The book was written by Dr.T.P.Sethumadhavan and published by Directorate of Entrepreneurship, KVASU. In the era where food security issues are emerging livestock sector is aquiring importance in the country. This book is intended for entrepreneurs, policy makers, farmers, scientists, veterinarians and extension workers. Director of Entrepreneurship Dr.S.Ramkumar handed over the publication to the Mayor. District Panchat President Sri. K.V.Dasan, District Collector Sri. P.M.FrancisIAS, Deputy Mayor Smt. Subi Babu, Former Mayor K.Radhakrishnan and General Convenor sri. Ramachandran Perumbidi received the books from Mayor. Directorate of Entrepreneurship Dr.S.Ramkumar distributed the prizes to the winners of the Petshow.. District Panchayat president Sri. K.V.Dasan and District Collector Sri.P.M.Francis IAS offered felicitations. Former Mayor Sri. K.Radhakrishnan welcomed the gathering and Sri. C.P.Sebi expressed vote of thanks.
