17Govardhini-2013 a two day awareness seminar and Cattle infertility cum health care camp was held at Cherumkuzhy Milk Co-operative society of Ollukkara Block, Thrissur on 13th and 14th March 2013. This programme was jointly organized by Animal Production Department of KVASU, Mannuthy Campus and Cherumkuzhy Milk Co-operative Society. Sri. T.P.George, President, Ollukkara Block Panchayat inaugurated the programme on 13th March 2013. Dean, CVAS, Mannuthy Dr.H.Subramanian presided over the function. Dr.K.N.Aravindagosh, Professor & Head, Department of Animal Reproduction delivered keynote address. Smt. Sajitha Baburaj, President, Nadathara Grama Panchayat inaugurated the Farmers seminar. Dr.P.C.Alex, Professor & Head, Clinical Medicine Department released the booklet and Dr.C.B.Manomohan honored the best dairy farmers of the Milk Society.Sri. O.J.Philip welcomed the gathering and Dr.M.P.Unnikrishnan, Asst Professor, Animal Reproduction Department offered vote of thanks. Dr. T.P.Sethumadhavan of Directorate of Entrepreneurship and Dr.Tresa mol, Associate Professor & Head, Department of Veterinary Epidemiology & Preventive Medicine took classes on Profitable Dairying and Control of Animal Diseases respectively. Around 75 Dairy farmers attended the seminar. An infertility cum Health care camp was held as part of Govardhini-2013 at Cherumkuzhy on 14th March 2013.
