Dr.Raji is undergoing training on stem cell research at Bioinformatics Institute, Matrix, Singapore

Dr. K. Raji, Asst. Professor, Dept of Veterinary Physiology, College of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, Pookot. is undergoing foreign training in the area of stem cell research in the lab of Dr. Vivek M. Tanavade, Principal Investigator, Genome and Gene Expression Analysis Division, Bioinformatics Institute, Agency for Science Technology and Research (A*STAR), Matrix, Singapore from May 18, 2011 to August 15, 2001. Moreover she will also be trained in the laboratory of Dr. Prabha Sampath at the Institute for Medical Biology, A*STAR. Dr. Prabha Sampath’s laboratory focuses on translational regulation of gene expression in differentiating embryonic stem cells, culturing and characterizing embryonic stem cells.
This training has been approved under HRD progrmmme of NAIP under Component I of NAIP. She is the first scientist of KVASU to get a foreign deputation for training under Component I of NAIP.
