Consultative workshop on developing content for commercial farming held at CVAS, Mannuthy on 20th March 2013

                                   One day Consultative workshop on finalising the content for developing the resource pool of the Veterinarians of the Animal Husbandry department  in the area of Commercial livestock farming was held at CVAS, Mannuthy on 20th March 2013. Registrar, KVASU Dr.K.P.Sreekumar inaugurated the workshop.This programme was organised by Directorate of Entrepreneurship of the University. Dr.K.R.Rao, CEO, ARDCONS and former CGM, NABARD lead the session. 40 members from Animal Husbandry Department, Dairy Development Department, KVASU, KAU, NGOs and farmer representatives participated in the workshop. Participants were divided in five break away groups and the content, number of session and syllabus for the 21 days programme were formulated. During the valedictory session Registrar Dr.K.P.Sreekumar & Dean Dr.H.Subramanian distributed certificates.Dr.Joseph mathew, Co-odinator of the programme welcomed te gathering and Dr.C.T.Sathian, Asst Co-ordinator proposed vote of thanks.
