KVASU board decided to entrust the construction works to CPWD

The University Board met on 25th May 2011 and took the following key decisions:

1) The Central Public Works Department (CPWD) will be the
construction agency for the central assistance of Rs 144 Crores
received on nomination basis. An MOU will be signed to that effect
between KVASU and CPWD shortly.

2) Decided to advertise the EOI for a design consultant (architect)
for the infrastructure upgradation work.

3) Shri K. G. PratapRaj, now Chief Engineer, Kerala Police Housing
Construction Corporation (KPHCC) appointed Consultant Engineer to the
University on deputation.

4) The Vice Chancellor’s financial powers were delegated.

5) Decided to expand the Board and constitute the Managing Council
as per the KVASU Act.
