Prof. Suresh S. Honnappagol, ADG (EQR),ICAR visited the KVASU, Manuthy campus

                       Prof. Suresh S. Honnappagol, ADG (EQR), Agriculture Education Division, ICAR, New Delhi visited College of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, Mannuthy on 01/06/2013. A felicitation meeting jointly organized by the Department of Animal Reproduction, Gynaecology & Obstetrics and The Indian Society for Study of Animal Reproduction (ISSAR) was held in the Seminar Hall, presided by Dr. P.C. Saseendran, Dean of the college. Dr. K.N. Aravinda Ghosh, Professor and Head of Dept. of Animal Reproduction, Gynaecology & Obstetrics welcomed the Chief Guest and gatherings. Dr. M.R. Saseendranath, Director (Acad. & Res.) and Dr. M.S. Nair, Retd. ADR, KAU (Senior most ISSAR member) felicitated the chief guest. Faculty members, PG students and final year UG students were participated in the function.
                          Prof. Suresh S. Honnappagol, ADG (EQR) in his inspiring speech reminded to explore the potential of dog breeding as a sustainable livelihood security in Animal Husbandry sector. He narrated the activities of the Agriculture Education Division of ICAR including the various funding and fellowships for the benefit of faculty and students. He also insisted on the necessity of improving the quality of education in Agriculture sector.Dr. K. Devada, Professor (RC).expressed vote of thanks.
