Reproductive Endocrinology Laboratory started @Mannuthy Campus

                    Prof. Suresh S. Honnappagol, ADG (EQR), Agriculture Education Division, ICAR, New Delhi inaugurated the newly established Reproductive Endocrinology Laboratory of the Department of Animal Reproduction, Gynaecology & Obstetrics, College of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, Mannuthy on 01/06/2013. Dr. M.R. Saseendranath, Director (Acad. & Res.), Dr. S. Ramkumar, Director of Entrepreneurship, Dr. P.C. Saseendran, Dean, Dr. P.C. Alex, Professor (Clinics), KVASU, Dr. C.B. Devanand, Professor & Head, UVH, Mannuthy and other faculty members were present during this occasion. The Reproductive Endocrinology Laboratory was established under State Plan 2012-13 for endocrinological investigation of various infertility conditions in crossbred cattle. The laboratory is equipped with Ultralow freezer (-80C), Refrigerated Centrifuge, ELISA Reader, ELISA washer, Millipore water filtration system, Microplate shaker, Incubator, pH meter, Magnetic stirrer etc with facilities for ELISA based estimation of various reproductive hormones like progesterone, Oestradiol 17β, Prolactin, FSH, LH, T3, T4, TSH etc.
