06The World environment day was celebrated at KVASU, Pookode campus by planting 30 varieties of bamboo saplings in the University campus. RegistrarDr. K.P. Sreekumar inaugurated the celebration by planting bamboo sapling. Director of Enterpreneurship Dr.S. Ramkumar, Director of Academics and Research Dr.M.R. Saseendranath, Dean of Veterinary College Dr. Leo Joseph led the celebrations. 'Uravu' the environmental conservation society of Wayanad provided the saplings. Bamboos will be utilized in future for the bio-fencing and beautification of the campus.
