REVOLVING FUND POULTRY PROJECT

NOTIFICATION

Applications are invited for the following temporary positions (one vacancy each) on daily wage basis as per KVASU Rule, in the Revolving Fund Poultry project in the Centre for Advanced Studies in Poultry Science, Kerala Veterinary & Animal Sciences University, Mannuthy

1 Hatchery Manager
Qualification : Essential: i. BVSc Degree from a recognized university
Desirable: Experience in a commercial hatchery

Age limit : 40 years (as on 01-01-2013)

2 Office Secretary
Qualification : Essential: i. Degree from a recognized university
ii. Should possess proficiency in computer operations, office proceedings, accounting etc. Desirable: Experience of having worked in a commercial hatchery/ livestock farms

Age limit : 40 years (as on 01-01-2013)

3. Accountant
Qualification : Essential: i. B.Com with Tally from a recognized
university
ii. Should possess proficiency in computer operations office proceedings, accounting etc. .
Desirable: Experience of having worked in commercial hatchery/ livestock farms

Age limit : 40 years (as on 01-01-2013)

4. Hatchery Assistant
Qualification : Essential: Pass in VHSE (Poultry)
Desirable: i Diploma in Poultry Science
ii.Experience of having worked in a commercial hatchery
Age limit : 40 years (as on 01-01-2013)

5. Feed mill supervisor : Essential: i.VHSE/Diploma in Poultry Science /
Certificate in Farm Assistant training.

Desirable: Experience of having worked in Govt/ commercial feed mill/farms

6. Feed Mill Technician/Fitter
Qualification : Essential: i. Pass in SSLC
ii. Certificate in Fitter trade from a recognized ITI
Desirable: Experience of having worked in a Feed Mill Age limit : 40 years (as on 01-01-2013)

7. Lab Assistant/Lab Technician
Qualification : Essential: B.Sc (Preferably Chemistry as Main subject)
from a Recognized University.
Desirable: Experience in feed analytical work/ Analytical laboratory
Age limit : 40 years (as on 01-01-2013)

8. Driver
Qualification : Essential: i. Pass in Class VII
ii. Light/ Heavy motor vehicle License
Desirable: Experience of having worked as Driver in
Govt. institutions
Age limit : 50 years (as on 01-01-2013)

All appointments are on tenure and contract basis and not borne on the regular establishment of KVASU. The desired candidates are requested to send their application in white paper along with attested copies of relevant certificates to prove educational qualification, age and work experience so as to reach the undersigned on or before 18-07-2013. The interview will be conducted as per the following schedule.
