Value addition and emerging technologies will help to maintain sustainability in Dairying, Says KVASU VC

                     Value addition and new technologies will help to maintain economic sustainability in Dairying says Dr.B.Ashok, Vice Chancellor, Kerala Veterinary and Animal Sciences University. Vice Chancellor made this remark during the inaugural session of Farmer Scientisy interaction held at  Nagambadam Maidan,Kottayam on 17th and 18th August 2013. The programme was organised by Directorate of Entrepreneurship of KVASU as Part of Productivity enhancement with the support of Department of Animal Husbandry, Dairy Development Department and Public Sector Undertakings in connection with State Level Farmer's day and Award distribution ceremony. Dr. K.G.Suma, Director of Animal Husbandry Department inaugurated the Mobile Exhibition Unit of the KVASU at Kottayam and presided over the inaugural session of the Farmer Scientist Interaction.  Additional Director Dr.Brahmanandan, Joint Director Dr.Tom George, Dr.T.P.Sethumadhavan (Head, Publications), Dr.AjithBabu(KVASU) and Dr.Sunil G(Directorate of Entrepreneurship) interacted with farmers.
