19CDST Students’ Union 2012-’13 organized this year’s Independence Day Celebrations on 15th August 2013 at the University Dairy Plant premises. Dean (i/c) Prof. (Dr.) P.I. Geevarghese hoisted the National flag at 08:45 a.m. Prof. (Dr.) C.B Manomohan, NSS Programme Coordinator of KVASU inaugurated ‘CDST Cycle Club’ and flagged-off the cycle rally popularizing the concept of ‘Energy Conservation for a Greener Future’. Dr. P. Sudheer Babu, Head – University Dairy Plant and Dr. S.N. Rajakumar, Head – Dept. of Dairy Technology offered Independence Day messages. The programme was followed with patriotic song & debate competitions. B.Tech and M.Tech students of CDST actively participated in the competitions.
