06Farmer- Scientist interaction begins at Thoomarakkad ksheera Sangham,Tirur, Malappuram District on 5th September 2013. Directorate of Entrepreneurship is organising this programme as part of productivity enhancement in Dairying in association with Animal Husbandry Department, Dairy Development Department on 5th and 6th September 2013.Smt.K.Saphya Teacher, Chairperson, Tirur Municipality inaugurated the Farmer Scientist interaction on 5th September 2013. Sri. Ramankutty, Vice Chairman, Tirur Municipality presided over the function. Sri. M.Abdullakkutty, President, Tirur Block Panchayat distributed knowledge kit of KVASU. Dr.T.P. Sethumadhavan, Head, Publications, Dr.P.Girishkumar, Dr.V.K.Vinod.(CVAS, Pookode), Dr.B.Suresh(SVS, Tirur) and Mr .P.Sreekantan, Dairy Extension Officer, Tirur took classes and interacted with farmers. Around 80 farmers are participating in the farmer scientist interaction.
