09Commemoration of Padma Vibhushan late Dr.Verghese Kurien, the Milkman of India on the first death anniversary and distribution of MILMA Gold medal awards was held on 9th September 2013 at Paramount Towers, Kozhikkode. Sri.A.Pradeepkumar MLA inaugurated the function. Vice Chancellor Dr.B.Ashok presided over the function.Sri. C.P.John, Member Kerala State planning Board delivered Dr.Verghese Kurien commemmorial lecture. MILMA Chairman Sri. P.T. Gopalakurup distributed the MILMA gold medals. Deputy Director of Dairy Development Sri. Baburaj, Registrar Dr.K.P.Sreekumar, Director of Academics &Research Dr.M.R.Saseendranath, MRCMPU MD Sri. Mathew, Director of Entrepreneurship Dr.S.Ramkumar and Dr.P.I.Geevarghese addressed the gathering. Dr.R.Rajendrakumar, Dean, CDST presented the proposal on Dr.Verghese Kurien institute of Dairy and Food Technology.
