12 Dr. John Abraham, Assistant Professor, Department of Livestock Production and Management won 4 Gold medals for Ph.D which includes TANUVAS Gold Medal for Veterinary and Animal Sciences for the highest OGPA in Ph.DProgramme, TANVAS Alumni Association Gold Medal for the best Ph.D student, Dr. P. Richard Masillamony Gold Medal for the best outgoingPh.D student in both Veterinary and Fisheries faculty and S.K.M. Animal feeds Gold Medal for the best Ph.D student in Avian Studies. These awards were presented to him in the 16th Convocation of Tamil Nadu Veterinary and Animal Science University preside by Dr. K. Rosaih, the governer of Tamil Nadu, Prof. M.S. Swaminathan chief guest and Mr. T.K.M. Chinnayya, the Hon'ble Minister for Animal Husbandry on 10.09.2013.
