Workshop on Pre-employment testing tips held at CVAS, Mannuthy

          Two days workshop on “Pre-employment testing tips” was organised jointly by College of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, Mannuthy and the Directorate of Entrepreneurship for M.S/M.Sc/M.V.Sc students of 2012 & 2013 batch on 27-09-2013 and for 2012 batch Diploma students on 28-09-2013 at the Seminar Hall, COVAS, and Mannuthy. There were 3 sessions; each of two hour duration in a day. Dr.S.Ramkumar, Director of Entrepreneurship inaugurated the workshop. on 27-09-2013 which was presided by Dr.P.C.Alex, Dean i/c, COVAS, Mannuthy.. Dr. V. Ramnath, Associate Professor and Convenor, Department of Veterinary Physiology welcomed the gathering and Dr. Shibu K Jacob expressed vote of thanks.
                The first session was on “Power Point presentation skills & How to write a successful Curriculum Vitae & Resume before applying for a job” which was handled by Mr. Ajith Menon, (Free-lance life skill trainer) on both days.The second session was on “Managing Soft Skills for Personality Development” and was handled by Mr. K. P. A. Rehman, (HRD – Trainer) on both days.The third session was on “How to face an interview with confidence: Mannerisms and Body language” which was handled by Dr. Jacob Varghese, (Resource Person – Institute of Management in Government) on 27-09-2013 and by Mr. Sishir Sreenivas. K (HRD- Trainer) on 28-09-2013. Certificates were distributed to all the partipants.
