Dr. D.Sukumar, Assistant Professor& Head, University Poultry Farm, College of Veterinary and Animal Sciences University, Mannuthy expired today at 1.30 pm in Chennai. As a mark of respect to the departed soul all the academic activity of the college is suspended and holiday is declared on 15.10.2013 A.N. for the College. Dr.D.Sukumar’s area of interest was Poultry Nutrition, Emu birds research, Breeding and Development, Fancy chicken-Rearing and standardization of scientific managemental procedures, Poultry physiology, reproduction and Nutrition.
