                                     Livestock sector requires appropriate technologies to meet the livelihood needs of the farmers; Says Adv.Mathew T Thomas MLA. MLA made this suggestion during the inaugural session of Farmer Scientist interaction held at Santhinilayam, Thiruvalla, Pathanamthitta District on 29th October 2013. Measures should be taken to assess the quality of cattle feed , MLA added.As part of productivity enhancement in Dairying, Directorate of Entrepreneurship of KVASU is organising Farmer Scientist interaction across the State.Thiruvalla Municipal Chairman Smt. Delsy Sam presided over the function. Vice Chancellor of KVASU Dr.B.Ashok IAS delivered the keynote address. District Animal Husbandry Officer, Pathanamthitta Dr.K.K.Jayaraj and Deputy Director (Dairy Development) Sri. Vasudevan Namboothiri offered felicitations. Director of Entrepreneurship Dr.S.Ramkumar welcomed the delegates and Deputy Director ADDL Dr.James expressed vote of thanks. Vice Chancellor Dr.B.Ashok, Director of Entrepreneurship Dr.S.Ramkumar, Dr.T.P.Sethumadhavan, Dr.Deepa Ananth, Dr.V.K.Vinod, Dr.Ajith Babu and Dr.Sheeja interacted with farmers.
