Applications called for HR. Manager on contract basis @ KVASU, Pookode

Kerala Veterinary and Animal Sciences University (KVASU) has launched innovative job oriented courses to cater to the needs of the society. The MS and Diploma courses have been well received and the second batch of students are due to complete their courses in the next few months.

KVASU, seeks to recruit a HR Manager to fulfill its commitment to providing placement assistance and capacity building to its qualified students.

VACANCY and Location – Human Resources Manager , at the Headquarters of KVASU - Pookode, Wayanad.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop appropriate strategies and activities for successful student placements
• Build and maintain successful Industry and University Interface.
• Liaison with prospective employers including corporates, Government and quasi Government institutions for placement and related activities.
• organize and conduct capacity building programmes for post graduate, undergraduate and diploma students and equip them with sufficient skills necessary for successful placements.

Essential Qualifications
MBA with a specialization in HR/ Diploma in HRM/ equivalent from a reputed Institute.

• Minimum 5 years experience in a similar profile.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Proven ability in Industry interface and student capacity building
• Ability to lead and manage a team and work with diverse groups of people
• Willingness to travel and co ordinate activities at Pookode and Mannuthy( Thrissur) Campus of the University.

Age: 35 years as on the date of notification.
Tenure and pay: One year on contract basis on a consolidated total pay of Rs 40,000/- (Rupees forty thousand only) only
