                Silver jubilee celebrations of Vechur Cow Conservation will be held at Kerala Sahithya Academi on 17th December 2013. Vice Chancellor KVASU Dr.B.Ashok IAS will inaugurate the celebrations at 9.30AM. Chairman, Kerala Bio Diversity Board Dr.Ommen V Ommen will preside over the function.Managing Trustee, Vechur Conservation Trust Dr. Sosamma Iype will deliver the keynote address. District Collector, Thrissur Dr. M.S.Jaya, Director of Animal Husbandry Dr.N.N.Sasi, Dean, CVAS, Mannuthy Dr.P.C.Saseendran, Former Dean, CVAS Namakkal Dr.Kandhaswamy, KLD Board MD Dr.Jose James, NBPGR Regional Director Dr.Z.Abraham. former Dean Dr.Radhakrishna Kaimal are among the fewdignitaries who wll participate in the inaugural session. Director, Animal breeding and Genetics Dr.K.C.Raghavan will welcome the delegates and dr.P.K.santhosh will offer vote of thanks. A seminar and exhibition on Conservation of local cattle and farmer groups will be held after the inaugural session. dr.J.mohan, dr.M.Kurien, dr.K.C.Jayan, Sri. N.Brahmadhathan, Dr.Jayan Joseph, Dr.Joby George and Dr.Anil Sacharia will lead the session.
