18Kerala Veterinary and Animal Sciences University’s 10 new publications and Niravu Farm journal will be released on 28th January 2014 during the inaugural session of the Kerala Science Congress to be held at KVASU campus, Pookode, Wayanad from 28th to 31st Januay 2014. Hon’ble Chief Minister of Kerala Sri.Oommen Chandy will release the new books and Niravu Farm journal. Both print and e form of the journal edited by Dr.Sabin George will be released. Publications are intended for Entrepreneurs, farmers, students, local body representatives, Self help groups and extension workers. This is a unique event as far as Kerala is concerned where a University is releasing 10 new titles in a single occasion. They include books on Pig production, How to Succceed?,Quail production, Self help groups and Entrepreneurship, Commercial farming-Marketing and Export, Hatchery management, Productivity enhancement in Dairying, feeds and feeding, Duck rearing and Turkey production. Publication division of Directorate of Entrepreneurship of KVASU is publishing these publications. Vice Chancellor Dr.B.Ashok IAS, Registrar Dr.K.P.Sreekumar, Director of Entrepreneurship Dr.S.Ramkumar and Director of Academics and Research Dr.M.R.Saseendranath will be among the few dignitaries who will participate in the publication releasing function. Ksheera prabha software developed by KVASU and KSCSTE will be release during the function.
