Commodity interest group training for rabbit farmers starts at Kannur

                         The training for the commodity interest group on rabbit production for the farmers of Dharmadam charitable society of, Kannur starts at Sulunas Apartments, Darmadam Panchayatfrom 20th January 2014 onwads.. The training will be formally inaugurated on 21st January, 2014 by Prof.K.A.Sarala, Jilla Panchayat President, Kannur District. The Thalassery Block panchayat President, Smt.C.P.Baby Sarojam, Principle training officer, LSM training centre, Kannur, Dr.Lovely Joseph, District coordinator, Jilla saksharatha Mission, Kannur, Mr. P.P.Siraj will preside the gathering. The six days intensive training is intended for developing entrepreneurship among the CIG with capacity building on breeding, feeding, management, entrepreneurship meat production, value addition, product diversification, marketing, market linkage, budgeting and accounting, food safety aspects, disease control aspects etc. This will also include 2 days hands on training on scientific slaughtering and processing and product manufacturing offered by the LPT department of CVAS, Pookode. The classes will be handled by the faculty of KVASU, officers of AHD, and other experts. This State wide training would be 13th training in the series of 20, conducted by the Directorate of Entrepreneurship on commodity interest group.
