KVASU released 10 new publications and farm journal

                                      KVASU's ten new publications, Farm Journal NIRAVU and Software for feeding Dairy Cattle Ksheera prabha  were released during the inaugural session of 26th Kerala Science Congress held at Pookode Campus on 28th January 2014. .Dr.A.N.P.Ummer Kutty, former Vice Chancellor, Calicut University released the new publications by handing over the copies to Member Secretary, KSCSTE Dr.K.K.Ramachandran. Dr.Gangan Prathap, Outstanding Scientist, NIIST, CSIR, Trivandrum, Dr.Rajasekharan Pillai, Chairman, KSCSTE, Dr.B.Ashok IAS, Vice Chancellor, KVASU and Dr.Abdul Salam, Vice Chancellor, Calicut University were among the few dignitaries who were present during the occasion. The publications include books on Pig production, How to Succceed?, Quail production, Self help groups and Entrepreneurship, Commercial farming-Marketing and Export, Hatchery management, Productivity enhancement in Dairying, feeds and feeding and Duck rearing. Authors include Dr.Narayanankutty, Dr.A.P.Usha, Dr.T.P.Sethumadhavan, Dr.B.Ajith Babu, Dr.Sabin George,Dr.E.D.Benjamin, Dr.George Sherin, Dr.Lalu, Dr.Vimal Antony, Dr.Deepa Ananth, Dr.Syam Mohan and Dr.Sankaralingam. Publication division of Directorate of Entrepreneurship of KVASU is publishing these books. Publications are intended for Entrepreneurs, farmers, students, local body representatives, Self help groups and extension workers. This was a unique event as far as Kerala is concerned where a University is releasing 10 new titles in a single occasion. These publications will be available for sale at KVASU sales centres, Directorate of Entrepreneurship, Pookode, Publication division, Mannuthy and in the field level research stations.Moreover University had reprinted existing seven publications.
