KVASU's Pavilion won first prize in the National Poultry Expo

                         Kerala Veterinary and Animal Sciences University  participated in the National Poultry Expo at Marine Drive, Kochi. Hon'ble Minister for Food, Civil supplies and Consumer affairs, Government of India  Sri. K.V.Thomas inaugurated the expo on 27th February 2014. Hon'ble Minister for Agriculture and Animal Husbandry Sri. K.P. Mohanan presided over the function. Hon'ble Minister for Excise and Fisheries Sri. K.Babu inaugurated the exhibition.KVASU  showcased the  poultry sector research in the State. KVASU's pavilion won first prize among the 200 stalls in the National Poultry Expo. It  includes new initiatives, Projects, publications, Poultry faculty, etc.KVASU's Anaswara Poultry Project designed by Dr.B.Ajith Babu for small holder quail rearing attracted lot of public and entrepreneurs in the exhibtion. Technical seminars were held as part of the five day exhibition.
