Dr.Verghese Kurien Commomerative Lecture, Elocution competition and Bhoomi Pooja held at Mannuthy Campus

                   In order to commemorate Dr. Verghese Kurein, the Milk man of India on his second death anniversary, College of Dairy Science and Technology , Mannuthy and Directorate of Entrepreneurship, Kerala Veterinary and Animal Sciences University, Pookode jointly organized a function on September 4th, 2014 at seminar hall, College of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, Mannuthy. Dr. J. Prameela Devi, Translator, autobiography of Dr.Verghese Kurien and member, Women’s commission, Kerala delivered the commemorative lecture. An elocution competition for undergraduate students of professional colleges were also held at Seminar Hall of CVAS, Mannuthy. During the Bhoomi Pooja Dean CDST Dr.P.I.Gee Varghese, Dean CVAS, Mannuthy Dr.P.C.Saseendran, Chief Engineer, CPWD, Former Dean CDST Dr.Rajendrakumar and Chief Engineer Sri. Sunny Thomas lighted the lamp. Faculty members and students attended the function.
