07Dr.Radhakrishna Kaimal (85), Former Dean, College of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, Mannuthy, renowned Scientist and Elephant expert died on 6th October 2014. Dr.Kaimal was instrumental in bringing elephant treatment in the forefront of Veterinary research.Dr.kaimal and his team tranquilized more than 700 captive Asian elephants across the country during the last six decades. Dr.Kaimal received several National and International recognitions. Dr.Kaimal leaves his wife Dr.Aparana Devi, three sons and grandchildren. A condolence meeting is arranged on 08.10.2014 (Wednesday) at 2.30 pm in the Seminar hall of CVAS, Mannuthy Vice Chancellor, Officers, faculty, staff and students condoled the demise of Dr.Kaimal.
