CIG training on Goat farming held @ Kannur

Directorate of Entrepreneurship of KVASU in association with Kudumbasree organised Commodity interest group training on Goat farming at Kannur.Training on advanced goat breeding for the breeding group of Adugramam Project of Kudumbasree Kannur for 40 beneficiaries held at Kannur from 9th October to 10th at District Library Hall. This is the second level two days training given to 20 goat breeders from the group and 15 vet (veterinary Extension team) members of the kudumbasree associated with this project.The breeders were given three days training earlier at Mannuthy.Dr.Prashanth, Assistant Director,SLBP,Kannur, Dr.Marykutty Thomas,Dr.Biju Chacko and Dr.Deepa Ananth(Asst professors, KVASU) handled different sessions on breeding, feeding, disease control and entreprenurship. Experience sharing of Mr.Manikkan, a goat entrepreneur and a field visit to award winner Roja's goat farm ere also organised as part of the training programme.
