Measures should be taken to minimise pollution threats in Commercial livestock farms, Says Hon'ble Minister for Agriculture and Animal Husbandry, Government of Kerala, Sri. K.P.Mohanan. Minister made this remark during the inaugural session of Entrepreneurship Development programme at Kannur district. Animal Husbandry Department and Directorate of Entrepreneurship of KVASU organised the District level Entrepreneurship meet in Livestock production  at Payyanur Block Ksheera Bhavan, Payyanur on 11th October 2014.  Sri. C.Krishnan. M.L.A presided over the function. District Animal Husbandry Officer Dr.Raveendran, Assistant Director Dr.Shaikoya, Dr.P.V.Mohanan and Assistant Professor(Poultry Science), CVAS, Pookode Dr.Abdul Muneer.K took classes. Around 70 prospective  investors participated in the Entrepreneurship Development programme.
