KVASU'S PAVILION WON SECOND PRIZE IN THE SWASRAYA BHARAT-2014 SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY MEGA EXPO

             Directorate of Entrepreneurship of Kerala Veterinary and Animal Sciences University participated in the Swasraya Bharat- 2014, a Science and Technology mega expo held at College of Agriculture, Padanakkad, Kasargode. Hon'ble member of parliament, P. Karunakaran who represents the Kasargod constituency of Kerala inaugurated the expo on 14th October 2014. Hon'ble MLA, Sri E. Chandrasekaran presided over the function and G. Madhavan Nair, the former Chairman of Indian Space Research Organisation, was the guest of honour. KVASU's pavilion won second prize among the university category in the Expo. KVASU pavilion showcased the various interventions of the university in the field of teaching, extension and research in the State. It included new initiatives, projects, publications, farm clinic etc. KVASU's pavilion attracted lot of public and entrepreneurs to the exhibition. The exhibition was co-ordinated by Dr.R.Senthilkumar, Head, Department of Veterinary Extension. Dr.Subin K Mohan, Assistant Professor of the Department of Veterinary Extension, Mr.Samikutty, Farm Assistant and PG students (Dr.Sarath , Dr.Shiju Shaji and Dr.Shyam) of COVAS, Pookode were instrumental in successful conduct of the exhibition.
