Quiz programme and poster painting competition held @Thrissur as part of World Food Day celebrations

KVASU in association with Association of Food Scientists & Technologists (India) Thrissur chapter organised XIXth Quiz programme and poster painting competition on "Food & Nutrition" for high school students on 16-10-2014 (World Food Day). 15 schools participated. Dr. Justin Davis, Asst. Professor was the Quiz master. Dr. Janardhanan, Sr. Manager, Thrissur Dairy, Dr. P.I. Geevarghese, Deani/c, CDST and Dr. A.P. Usha, Associate Dean, CV&AS, Mannuthy Ateended the function and gave away the prizes. Following schools were winners.Quiz :- First prize :- Chinmaya Vidyalaya, Kolazhy.
Second prize:- Bharatiya Vidyabhavan, Poochatty

Poster:- First prize:- Chinmaya Vidyalaya, Kolazhy
Second prize :- Nirmala Matha Central school, Thrissur.Awards were given to Best students from B.V.Sc&A.H; B.Tech (DS&T) and B.Sc. (Agri).
