Expression of interest called for student group insurance schemes from reputed insurance companies

                               Kerala Veterinary and Animal Sciences University invites expression of interest from reputed insurance companies to give insurance coverage to around 1500 students of the University. Copy of proposal submitted by one of the insurance companies is herewith enclosed. Proposals from other companies which can yield better insurance coverage to the students are invited. Proposal must be send to Dr.P.J.Rajkamal, Director i/c(Students welfare), Department of Veterinary and Animal Husbandry Extension, Kerala Veterinary and Animal Sciences University, Mannuthy, Thrissur-680651

Scope of the cover:
a. Accident Death to parent/guardian (named) Rs. 2, 00,000
b. Tuition fee, Hostel charge & other expenses (if liability admitted under Sl.1)Rs. 1, 00,000
c. Accidental death cover to student Rs 1, 00,000
d. Hospitalization Expenses (due accident/disease) to student * Rs. 25,000
e. Loss of Baggage Rs. 2,500
Premium including Service Tax: Rs. 427/=

2. Student Medi-Care
Scope of the cover:
a. Death due to Accident 50,000
b. Permanent total Disablement 50,000
c. Loss of 2 limbs 50,000
d. Loss of 1 limb 25,000
e. Hospitalisation Expenses due to Accident 50,000
f. Hospitalisation Expenses for diseases* 10,000
Premium for Scheme 2 per head Rs. 303.00
