25JAGRITI-A workshop to identify skills in Agriculture was held at Mascot Hotel, Trivandrum on 21st January 2015. . It was organised by ASAP of Department of Higher education with the help of Agriculture Skill Council of India, National Skill development council and ADB. CEO, ASAP Mr. Reju. M.T IAS delived the introductory note. Dr.Satender Arya CEO, ASCI and Mr.Basab Banerjee of ADB delivered the keynote addresses.Dr.T.P.Sethumadhavan, Director of Entrepreneurship of KVASU presented a status paper on Skill development in Animal Husbandry- Prospects and Challenges. Mr.Santhosh Baby and Girsishkumar presented papers on Fisheries and Agriculture skill prospects respectively. Around 100 Officers from Animal husbandry, Agriculture, fisheries, progressive farmers and policy makers attended the one day workshop
