National Seminar on Contemporary Toxicologic Pathology in India and the Annual Conference of Indian Association of Veterinary Pathologists, South Zone begins @ Pookode from 11th to 12th February 2015.

                       National Seminar on Contemporary Toxicologic Pathology in India and the Annual Conference of Indian Association of Veterinary Pathologists, South Zone will be held Kerala Veterinary and Animal Sciences University, Pookode begins at Pookode from 11th to 12th February 2015. Registrar Dr.Joseph Mathew  presided  the inaugural the programme on 11th February 2015  held at Hotel Wayanad Gate @ Pookode. Dr.C.Gopinath and Professor Malcom Alison explained  Course content and International relevance of Toxico pathology courses respectively. The Course on Toxico pathology will be in technology enable distance learning mode with industry and research institution interface.  Director of Entrepreneurship Dr.T.P.Sethumadhavan and President IAVP Dr.R.Somvanshi offered felicitations. Director, Academics and Research Dr.K.Devada  welcomed the delegates and Dr.N.Vijayan, Professor and Head of Pathology  expressed vote of thanks. Dr.T.V.Anilkumar, Adjunct Professor delivered the introductory note. Dr.C.Gopinath from U.K  presented a paper on Stress response in toxicity studies in animal models and Professor Malcom Alison (International expert) delivered a talk on role of stem cells in the pathogenesis of gastrointestinal lesions.
