World Veterinary Day 2015 commemorated by camp on Screening for Diagnosis of Glaucoma in Dogs @ University Veterinary Hospital,Mannuthy

                     World Veterinary Day 2015 was commemorated by camp on Screening for Diagnosis of Glaucoma in Dogs at University Veterinary Hospital,Mannuthy. It was conducted under the joint auspices of Department of Veterinary Surgery and Radiology,CVAS,Mannuthy and Kerala Chapter of Indian Society for Veterinary Surgery on 25th April 2015. Dr Sisilamma George, Dean, CVAS,Mannuthy inaugurated the camp. Dr. C.B.Devanand, Dr.P C Alex, Dr S Ajith kumar, Dr John Martin and Dr S.Anoop were present on the occasion.Post graduate and undergraduates students also participated. All the preregistered dogs were screened with a battery of ophthalmic examinations including STT, florescent dye test, applanation tonometer, and slit lamp biomicroscope. The camp could create awareness on the importance of Glaucoma detection and preventive measures for upkeeping the eye health in animals.
