10Kerala Veterinary and Animal Sciences University in association with Akshayakairali educational programme of Kaipamangalam Assembly Constituency launched a socio educational Project namely 'Sumedha' on 7th November 2014. The project envisages to provide awareness on Higher education, Career, General knowledge, Public health, vocational courses,coaching on Civil services examinations and Competitive examinations for the students of 8th to 12th Standard. The programme will provide three tier system of training for students, teachers and parents. Sri. Rishiraj Singh IPS, ADGP inaugurated sumedha on 7th November 2014 at Thevar Plaza Auditorium, Sree Narayanapuram. Sri. V.S.Sunilkumar MLA presided over the function. Director of Entrepreneurship, KVASU Dr.T.P.Sethumadhavan delivered the keynote address. Registrar, KVASU Dr.Joseph Mathew, District Collector, Ernakulam Sri. M.G.Rajamanikkam IAS and Asst Commissioner Income tax Sri. Jyothish Mohan addressed the gathering and interacted with the students. Sri. Abid Ali, President, Sreenarayanapuram Grama Panchayat welcomed the delegates and Co-ordinator, Sumedha Smt. T.K.Meerabhai expressed vote of thanks. Sri.Rishiraj Singh, Sri.Raja Manikkam and Sri.Jyothish Mohan interacted with the Students. Students who won Aplus in SSLC and 12th Standard were given meritorious awards during the function.
